Who We Are
Dominion Mission Theological University (DMTU) International, offers a Spirit led all- inclusive ministry curriculum which equips students to recognize the Lordship of Jesus Christ in all subject areas of learning and position them to stand for the ultimate Truth in the widening knowledge gap being created between theological knowledge, science and technological advancement in the 21st Century educational terrain.
Dominion Mission Theological University (DMTU) was conceived by Bishop Professor Daniel Dela in 2016 as answer to a heartfelt cry for the enlistment of men and women – average men that will be transformed from the place of mediocrity to the place of ambiance of God’s glory and authority; and ultimately stand for the Truth.
DMTU was incorporated with the Registration Number: CG121040221 under the Companies Act, 2019 (Act 992), Ghana and accredited by Quality Assurance for Higher Education International, USA. It has thirty-two (32) satellite campuses with over one thousand students across the continent of Africa and Asia.
The university has seven schools that runs various theological and applied theological programmes ranging from degree to PhD.
We believe that God is the author of all truth and not just religious truth. We therefore recognize the Lordship of Christ in all areas of learning to understand the truth about life and the world.
We envision to be the leading theological University in Africa and beyond in raising a mighty army of men and women to stand for the Truth.
- We exist to equip the saints for all-inclusive ministry through timely spiritual and cost-effective training of the heart, mind and body to meet life’s challenges with uncompromised Biblical Truth.
- To advance the study and instruction of theological education through the application of appropriate academic and professional standards to theological teaching, research and practice.
- To respond to the widening knowledge gap being created between theological knowledge, science, and technological advancement.
- Equip students to recognize the Lordship of Jesus Christ in all subject areas of learning and to respond to His call to be transforming influences in the society.
- To ignite the love of lifelong learning of the TRUTH in the body of Christ.
Growth mind-set – we want to produce students who will cultivate continual growth mindset both spiritually and academically. This will be established through leadership, critical thinking and teaching students to see challenges as new territories for growth.
Servant attitude – we try to create in our students the “others focused culture” through which Christ’s love and impact can be felt.
Character – we want to model the character of Christ in our responses and decisions making. We try to conduct ourselves with the highest-level personal integrity and respect.
Excellence – we are committed to high standard of preeminence in spirituality, character and academics.

What Our Students Say
Dr Raphael T Banda.

How has Dmtu impacted my faith.
"Dmtu has impacted my faith by directly and indirectly exposing me to people and ideas that are different than me/mine and my upbringing. In this the Lord, through Dmtu, has brought both a depth and breath to my faith and understanding of Him."
What I enjoy most about Dmtu.
Everyone is rooting for you to succeed in every aspect of your life. There's the spiritual and biblical foundation that drives everything that we do. But in complementary to that, Dmtu does an incredible job at creating spaces to contribute to everyone's emotional, social, physical, mental and professional/vocational health.
Why I picked/ Choose Dmtu.
I picked Dmtu for a number of reasons: Reputation, Location (short commute), Offerings of different class time.
What advice do you have for students considering Dmtu.
There is a season for everything. Praying about/considering Dmtu, each semester (even each class) in Dmtu, praying about/considering what's next, the other side of Dmtu, etc. And each season requires its own attention and version of you.

Since our affiliation with DMTU we have started to experience recognition as a college. The impacthas seen us reaching out to the less privileged Pastors in rural areas. Satellite schools are being set up to counter this surge. Thank you Dominion MISSION THEOLOGICAL UNIVERSITY for being there for us
